Internal Audit Manager

Overview

Imperial Dade is a fast-growing distribution company looking for an Internal Audit Manager to join our North Bergen, NJ-based team and report to our head of internal audit. This is an exciting opportunity to join a private equity-backed, high-growth organization while gaining exposure to M&A, integration, and projects involving finance transformation. This role will provide you with immediate exposure to Senior Leadership, who will support your role in building and enhancing our processes and controls. We are open to considering senior public accounting auditors looking to springboard to a Manager role!

Responsibilities

You will:

• Provide risk and control advisory support to the business for our financial, IT and operational processes.

• Lead individual internal audit projects, as part of the total internal audit plan.

• Provide guidance and mentorship to our senior auditor.

• Develop internal audit scope, perform internal audit procedures, document processes and controls, and prepare internal audit reports.

• Assist with periodic reporting to the audit committee and development of the annual internal audit plan.

• Champion internal control and corporate governance concepts throughout the business.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting/Finance/Economics or equivalent experience

• 5+ years internal audit or public accounting experience

• 3+ years of experience planning and directing audits

• Strong verbal and written communication skills, to effectively present to peers and management

• Ability to work from our North Bergen office. Imperial Dade has 4/1 in office schedule.

• Ability to travel domestically and internationally (Canada & Puerto Rico) up to 20%

• CPA or CIA certification is desired
