  • Real Estate Secured Lending organization, you will be based in Pittsburgh, PA, Chicago, IL, Downers Grove, IL, Cleveland, OH, Brecksville, OH, Miamisburg, OH, or Raleigh, NC.

The Compliance Audit team consists of several groups structured around specific regulations and products/services. The position is within the group focused on Real Estate Secured Lending products/services with responsibility for helping to ensure compliance by PNC with regulations such as Fair Lending/Fair Housing Act, Fair Credit Report Act, Home Mortgage Disclosure Act, Mortgage Originations, TRID, and ECOA/Reg B. This position will include a mixture of activities, including executing planned internal audits, performing validation of changes made by the front line units and/or participating in continuous monitoring both as a sole contributor and as part of an interactive, collaborative team. Must be familiar with running an audit engagement using audit methodology. Data analysis skills are helpful.

Job Description

  • Supervises internal audits to assess the effectiveness of controls, accuracy of financial records, efficiency of operations, and compliance with governmental regulation.

  • Works closely with internal clients at all levels in developing audit findings and recommendations regarding business process optimization, internal control and compliance. Reviews work papers. Performs complex testing procedures .

  • Participates in the development and implementation of risk assessments and audit plans .

  • Executes procedures and reviews work papers supporting external audit of internal controls, business processes, and account balances .

  • Keeps abreast of internal control audit trends to assure audit processes remain effective .

Work Experience

Roles at this level typically require a university / college degree, with 3+ years of relevant / direct industry experience. Certifications are often desired. In lieu of a degree, a comparable combination of education and experience (including military service) may be considered.

Our National Real Estate Practice provides for strong opportunities to work on projects within the Boston office as well as offices throughout the Firm. Being a part of the National Real Estate Practice will allow you to obtain exposure to the various lines of business within the industry including but not limited to tax compliance, valuation, and lease consulting and related services.
