TerrAscend's Internship Program runs for 10-12 weeks and includes exposure to areas of the business outside of your home department, a mentorship program, a capstone project, and a team full of professionals who want to see you succeed. We are now accepting applications for students to begin a Summer internship program from end of May to the 1st or 2nd week of August.

Our next Internal Audit Intern will gain experience in the execution of the SOX audit and other projects within the Internal Audit function.

Where you'll be planted:

This is a hybrid position, with 1-day/week on-site in our King of Prussia, PA location.

You must be able to commit to a 40 hour work week Monday through Friday. Hours can be flexible based on coursework.

What you will work on during this internship:

• Assist the Internal Audit function with the execution of the SOX audit and other projects

• Request and manage documentation from stakeholders at the business

• Conduct audit testing procedures and prepare work papers which document work performed and conclusions

• Create or update existing documentation (process flowcharts/narratives) of processes

• Review and provide process improvement recommendations for our existing risk and control matrices

• Perform special projects that may involve gathering information, conducting analysis, preparing files, etc.

Requirements:

• Must be attending an accredited college or university and working towards a bachelor's degree in business administration with a focus in Accounting, Finance, or similar field.

• Must be at least 18 years of age

• Must have current US work authorization

Ideal Qualifications:

• Candidates with intention to receive CPA or CIA in future preferred

• Prior experience within audit preferred but not required

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, etc.)

• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team

• Positive attitude with an eagerness and willingness to learn

• Ability to listen, understand, and be able to convey and concisely explain ideas

• Self-starter that can take the initiative to ask for help

• Time management and prioritization skills

• Excellent writing and verbal communication skills

• Background Check Requirement
