CLA is offering an exciting opportunity for a qualified candidate to join our Financial Institution Group (FIG) in St. Louis. We are looking for a staff member to provide support for our internal audit & compliance practice. The position offers an opportunity for professional growth within a FIG practice with a strong reputation within our local markets for excellent technical expertise and a commitment to client service.

To provide support to the internal audit & compliance team, including:
Prepare request list for work papers required to perform client fieldwork
Receive file downloads and prepare the work papers for the binder(s)
Create the Engagement binder(s), to coordinate with scheduled fieldwork
Copy work papers to the binder(s), using our numbering system
Prepare PowerPoint presentations for training, as requested by client
Set up codes for new client engagements
Grammatical review and formatting of client reports
File reports and correspondence; in electronic format
Monitor report progress
Client contact for fieldwork preparation and report distribution
Other duties as requested
OCCUPATIONAL SKILLS/EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:
Financial Institution experience, a plus
Professional writing skills
Ability to plan, prioritize, and organize
Proficient with Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint
Ability to manage several tasks simultaneously
Good communication skills verbal and written
Strong work ethic
Flexibility to manage changes in priorities
Self-starter, highly motivated, desire to learn, ability to work in a high paced environment, relate well to others and enthusiastic, flexible and willing to help in other areas as needed
Two year degree required or five years of equivalent work experience may be considered as a degree equivalent in some cases.
Individuals with greater experience and education may wish to pursue this as a career path option as well.
