The Advisor Network has an opening for an Internal Sales Representative to help drive our vision and strategy through Registered Investor Advisors. The Internal Account Executive (IAE) will partner with an external sales professional and the Managing Director. A successful IAE must have the ability to understand the RIA and B/D marketplace, be able to communicate SEI's Investment Philosophy effectively, influence client behavior, and effectively prioritize and manage client responsibilities. As the primary point of contact for advisors, the scope of this role is highly diverse. The majority of advisor contact is by telephone and online meetings.

The Internal Account Executive would be responsible for building relationships with advisors in this segment and for developing sales agendas with targeted advisors. This will be achieved through various proactive communication methods, responding to questions, providing a high quality client service, and making it easier for advisors to do business with SEI. The IAE will also be responsible for engaging existing advisors more actively through proactive contact.

Location and Travel

The position is Oaks based with limited travel and will report to the Managing Director of the Regional Sales Team.

What you bring to the table

  • BA/BS degree in business, finance or a related field; or the equivalent in education and work experience

  • A minimum of one year of experience in the financial services industry

  • Must have or attain a Series 65 license (within 3 months of date of hire) and be able to maintain the license

  • Working knowledge of investment products and markets

  • Relationship, customer service and client management skills

  • Ability to work under pressure and with a sense of urgency

SEI Sphere is a business doing what SEI does best: providing a platform of technology and services to help other financial institutions best utilize their resource capital. Specifically, the business provides outsourced IT managed services for cybersecurity operations, network operations, and hosting. The business has an opening for an internal sales representative to help drive our market growth through new clients within existing SEI markets, cross sales with SEI clients, and new markets to the SEI business. The Internal Sales Executive (ISE) will work closely with Sales Directors across these markets to generate brand awareness, prospect dialogues, and facilitate sales processes. A successful ISE must have the ability to understand buyer needs, cross-market competitor strategies/offerings, and SEI related messaging. The ISE would be responsible for supporting prospecting campaigns through lead cold and warm generation and event oriented presentation. As prospect processes develop, ISE would support the Sales Directors in preparing and executing upon strategy and execution of prospect meetings. The ISE will also be responsible for engaging buyers with proactive contact through email and phone. A focus on administration skills around CRM systems, record keeping, and prospect communications will matter greatly in the success of the position. This position is an excellent opportunity to develop a career in sales within a priority growth business of SEI. It is anticipated that there will be a high degree of contact with other parts of the SEI business units. What you will do: The responsibilities for this position may include some or all of the following: * Helping to increase market share by supporting sales of SEI solutions to community banks, credit unions, investment managers and future new markets to be established * Lead SEI Sphere prospect campaign projects identifying companies and individuals to target, executing a coordinated message through various media channels (email, phone, Linkedin, pre-recorded video, etc.) * Coordinate cross-selling campaigns across SEI business units * Handling inbound prospect inquiries, setting appointments for exploration & making outbound lead follow-up calls to prospects to drive sales processes * Prepare strategic content for prospect meetings as well as follow up to support ongoing sales agendas * Identify industry partnerships to pursue with non-competing services within the same target market * Research competitor messaging and contribute knowledge to strategy sessions with sales and marketing * Awareness of prospect agendas to support onboarding of new clients and transition to client supporting team * Keeping abreast of industry standards and knowledge to be able to communicate with prospects and internal SEI Sphere strategy planning What you bring to the table: ' BA/BS degree in business, finance or a related field ' A minimum of one year of experience in a sales support function ' Baseline understanding of information technology (cybersecurity in particular) ' Ability to work under pressure and with a sense of urgency ' Relationship, customer service, sales and client management skills ' Problem solving skills ' Organizational and analytical skills ' Interpersonal and communications skills ' Must be willing to work in an open floor environment Location and Travel The position is Oaks based with limited travel and will report to the Managing Director of the Business Development Team.
