Robert Young Center
Internship, Non-Paid
Master's Level
Moline, IL
We are proud to be one of the most experienced mental health care providers, with a long tradition of caring for our community. While being a leader in compassionate care is important, we believe it's equally important to be a leader in the behavioral health industry. No health care system is complete without a behavioral health division. The recent advances in behavioral health have given way to richer, deeper, treatment programs that put the patient at the center of each care plan. Since our founding, the Robert Young Center has championed mental health care advocacy, offering services under UnityPoint Health
Internships offer students an opportunity to apply, refine, and integrate knowledge acquired in the classroom with experiences in community organizations, healthcare settings, and schools. Robert Young Center provides internships from Master's level students from the fields of Social Work, Counselor Education, Psychology, etc. The student Intern works under the direct supervision of the Organization's Qualified Site Supervisor. All services provided by the Intern will be reviewed by the Supervisor including written work (i.e. assessments, treatment plans, and progress notes) and interactions with clients. The student intern will engage in a variety of clinical and non-clinical activities related to their specific discipline and consistent with their individual learning contract.
