We are seeking a paid summer intern to work for TRC's Building Sciences and Industrial Hygiene Practice in our Irvine, CA office location. This is a part time, 24-hour per week, position which will be staffed from June through August 2019 (flexible).

Job Description:

  • Data tabulation and review for regulated materials surveys for asbestos-containing materials, lead-containing materials, PCB's, universal wastes etc.

  • Spreadsheet preparation for industrial hygiene sampling.

  • Draft moisture and microbial assessment reports.

  • Provide office support for local BSI Project Managers.

  • Additionally, interns will participate in supervised field assignments, which may include site inspections and/or collection of air samples for laboratory analysis.


  • Must be at least 18 years old.

  • Self-motivated, detail orientated person who is proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, and PowerPoint)

  • Willing and able to perform indoor and outdoor field sampling activities.

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills

  • Undergraduates and/or graduates with a Bachelor's degree in a science discipline, industrial hygiene, public health or environmental engineering is preferred.
