Provides administrative and secretarial support to one or more mid-level professionals. Provides a wide variety of administrative and staff support services. May assist in budget preparation and control activities. May assist in the preparation and control of records, statistics, and reports regarding operations, personnel changes, etc. Administers programs, projects, and/or processes specific to the operating unit served. May serve as administrative liaison with others within and outside the company regarding administrative issues related to purchasing, personnel, facilities and operations. Incumbents typically receive guidance and/or direction from more senior administrative staff.
The Intern is accountable for delivering high quality and efficient service to internal clients by assisting with the Management Liabilities overall workflow processes and providing routine support. This role reports directly into the Client Service Supervisor. Supporting the business priorities of the Account Management team members.
Adhering to efficiency/productivity and process standards such as data and documents requirements, timelines, tool usage, etc.
Assists with the team's overall workflow processes
Creates documents, certificates, etc. using appropriate systems and resources, which may include communications, forms, certificates, reports, etc
Professional Development: Attending various weekly training engagements to further develop critical qualities of a successful client service and sales professional (i.e. communications, business etiquette, etc.)
Culture: Adopting Gallagher's unique culture, the "Gallagher Way," on how to ethically serve our external and internal clientele
Being a Team Player: Assisting in various regional and/or branch projects to support Gallagher's sales and service initiatives
High school diploma
Two or more years experience providing administrative support in a professional environment
Working knowledge of Microsoft Windows and Microsoft Office applications
Proficiency in Microsoft Office specifically Word, PowerPoint and Excel
Basic Math skills
Exceptional organizational skills.
Proficient in using technology as a tool to maximize productivity and quality.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
