Job Description:

This job will be part of the Electronic Industrial Solutions Group, which provides test and measurement solutions across a broad set of electronic industrial end markets, focusing on high-growth applications in the automotive and energy industries, and measurement solutions for consumer electronics, education and manufacturing, as well as semiconductor parametric testing. The group provides electronic design and test software, instruments, and systems used in the simulation, design, validation, manufacturing, installation and optimization of electronic equipment.

At the Detroit Automotive Customer Center, we develop customer events and demonstrations to showcase our technology. The intern will assist our engineers by configuring hardware, loading software and utilizing the Keysight Test Automation Platform to automate tests. The intern will also be tasked with keeping our solution labs orderly and operational. Finally, the intern will help with the shipping of our demonstration systems

Job Qualifications

  • Minimum Qualifications:
    Pursing a BS in Electrical Engineering (junior/senior preferred)

  • This is a 6-month internship 10-25 hours/week (Winter/Spring) and 40 hours/week during the summer

  • Course work or experience in digital communication systems preferred

  • Experience programing. Microsoft .NET, MATLAB or Python preferred

  • Experience loading and configuration application software

  • Basic understanding of electronic test equipment hardware

  • Excellent communication skills

  • Ability to function effectively in a team environment

  • Ability to quickly learn new technologies

  • Must be able to lift 50 pounds
