Wichita, Kansas Key Accountabilities: · Implement in-house developed computer vision technologies into the Spirit production system · Support research, develop, and design automated manufacturing systems for large aerostructures. · Apply knowledge or robotic, numerical controls, PLC, microcontrollers, and motion control systems to develop next generation autonomous manufacturing processes · Numerous R&D and production automation systems require expertise in automation controls and communications · Manage aerospace engineering requirements in the design and development of manufacturing systems to adhere to industry and airframe requirements. Skills: · CAD Design(Catia), Rapid prototyping, computer programming (C++, python, ROS, OpenCV, 3D rendering) · Mathematical optimization, algorithms, · Hands on fabrication, mechanical and electrical assembly Qualifications Requirements: In pursuit of a technical or engineering degree · You must be enrolled full time in a university degree program aligned to the area of internship.
