We also deliver Software Defined Storage solutions that can be run in the cloud, in IoT devices, and in remote locations throughout the world.

The Pittsburgh Technology Center (PTC) site of NetApp is located in Cranberry Township, just north of Pittsburgh, PA and is integral to the success of the NetApp Storage Systems & Software team. A significant portion of NetApp innovation originates from the PTC site.

Job Requirements

  • Data sciences coursework

  • Programming skills in 1 or more high-level languages (C, C++, Java, etc)

  • Linux command line and system administration skills

  • Experience with at least one scripting language (i.e. Python, Perl, Ruby, Bash, etc.)

  • Motivated self-starter with an equal balance of strong analytical skills and customer-facing communication skills

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, including presentation skills to engage any audience

  • Strong collaboration and interpersonal skills

  • Demonstrated mindset for continuous learning and knowledge transfer

  • Knowledge of public cloud architectures and networking is a plus

  • Ability to work on a diverse team or with a diverse range of people.

  • Understanding of TypeScript, JavaScript and front-end frameworks such as Angular. Some experience working with Node.js.

  • Creative and analytical approach to problem solving and analysis.


We are seeking candidates that are pursuing a Bachelor's, Master's or Ph.D. degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Information Systems or an equivalent degree.

Job Summary Job Summary As a Continuous Integration (CI) and Continuous Delivery (CD) Software QA Engineer, you will work with a team specializing in identifying and resolving regressions across NetApp solutions and products to keep engineering productivity high and delivery to the market quickly. You'll work on integrating and automating NetApp bleeding edge features to enable testing early in the developlment process as well as deploying modern tools and infrastructure to support the CI/CD pipeline.
