Schaeffler, a global automotive and industrial supplier, is seeking an Intern - Quality to provide system support to the Quality department in Cheraw, SC.

Key responsibilities include but not limited to:

  • FFQ Academy 2.0 Set up and scheduling in various plants

  • FFQ Academy disassemble component and set up of classroom for training. Assist in training in some axioms.

  • Implement and train Quality personnel on Controlled document system and related software such as SharePoint, Ebinder .

  • SharePoint site creation and document formatting etc.

  • Ebinder set up and training activities

  • Support and train operators in SPC tools such as QS-Stat , Procella.

  • Currently there are around 600 Electronic stands in region that need remote assistance and troubleshooting.

  • Have knowledge of Access and Excel to aid in development of small scale data collection projects.

  • Support with PPAP SAP transaction to release sample imports

Qualified candidates will have:

  • Associates Degree in Science, Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, or Equivalent

  • Proficient in learning new software e.g QS-Stat, SharePoint etc.

  • Strong communication skills (written, presentation)

  • Strong computer skills in MS Office packages (particularly MS Excel)
