The Alliance for Clinical Trials in Oncology Foundation (Foundation) is a foundation created to enhance and expand the ability of the Alliance for Clinical Trials in Oncology (Alliance) to conduct cancer clinical research and address important treatment questions through large-scale clinical trials. Through efforts of the Foundation in support of the Alliance, clinical trials and laboratory research are conducted to discover new or improved ways to prevent, treat, and cure many types of cancer, including leukemia and lymphoma, and cancers of the breast, prostate, lung, and gastrointestinal (GI) tract, and help educate the medical community on methods of cancer diagnosis, treatment, and prevention.

The Alliance for Clinical Trials in Oncology Foundation is looking for an Intern - QMC, eTMF who will assist our Quality Management & Compliance Department with administrative tasks that predominantly support our electronic Trial Master File (eTMF). We are an organization of passionate, team-oriented professionals driven to change the face of cancer.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Under the immediate supervision of the eTMF Administrator, provides support for the AFT eTMF activities
  • Assists study teams with eTMF quality control and reconciliation of study documents to address documentation gaps
  • Assists the eTMF Team in retrieving reports necessary for the assessment of eTMF metrics
  • Performs a broad variety of special projects and administrative tasks as directed and required for the support of the assigned department, QMC

Requirements

Qualifications & Education

  • Recent Graduate or College Student enrolled in an accredited college course in the study of Health Care Administration or Management or a relevant field.
  • Familiarity with the eTMF Reference model and a demonstrated understanding of records management best practices preferred
  • Comfortable with technology and ability to learn new systems quickly
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to handle multiple tasks
  • Strong research, critical thinking and subject analysis skills
  • Strong written and oral communication skills
  • Proficiency in Google and Microsoft 360 applications
  • Ability to work with others as well as independently
  • High-Speed Internet Connection
