Reporting into the Director of PR & PR Specialist, we are looking for a Public Relations Intern. The PR Intern will help assist in the long lead and short lead projects for the team. Their day-to-day will be heavily influenced by the relevant ongoing campaigns, and they will play an important role in the success of vineyard vines' public relations messaging, outreach and event support.

You Will:

  • Assisting with product seeding and selection for new and established bloggers, influencers and celebrities

  • Maintaining a relationship with internal teams and external agencies to oversee sample trafficking and product placement

  • Monitoring social media and blog presence relating to our influencer network

  • Working closely with PR team to help coordinate necessities for upcoming press trips, events, etc.

  • Demonstrates the ability to carefully listen to others at all levels in the organization

  • Strong time management, prioritization and organizational skills

  • Understands and adheres to all policies related to the organization

  • Take on ad-hoc projects as needed

Summer Audit Interns are assigned to one of our industry groups to work as a team member on diverse client engagements. Interns get real-world, hands on experience, allowing them to explore a career in public accounting with PKF O'Connor Davies and assisting in executing actual audit projects. In addition, Interns leap right in to real-world experience by conducting a market research project which they then present to Firm leadership. They also broaden their professional network by participating in community service and Firm sponsored events. From the very beginning, Summer Audit Interns are immersed in PKF O'Connor Davies culture. They begin their career with PKF O'Connor Davies by being assigned an Intern Advisers who assists them throughout their entire internship with the Firm. Interns also receive training to grow and develop their skill set. This full-time, 8 week internship program starts min-June and goes until mid-August. Essential Duties Essential Duties: * Develop relationships with clients and employees. * Become proficient in assisting clients with routine accounting functions. * Become familiar with and adhere to the Firm's policies and procedures as they relate to being an efficient and professional team member. * Draft financial statements under prescribed format. * Prepare portions of compilation, review and audit engagements. * Develop a working knowledge of all microcomputer applications, which are routinely used. * Become knowledgeable about accounting pronouncements and demonstrate an understanding in functions relating to basic income tax. Qualifications Qualifications: * Must have at least 75% of 150-credit CPA requirement completed from an accredited university. * Minimum 3.0 GPA. * Potential candidates should have good communication and computer skills and be team players who are motivated to work in a fast-paced environment. * Interns must be customer-focused and able to multitask. * Must be willing to travel locally to clients 80%+ of the time and have access to a car/public transportation.
