Primary Role

Assist the engineering asset planning and project delivery groups through the performance of all or part of the following tasks: data input, report generation, project spend tracking, preparation and maintenance of documentation, general support and administration of projects and department needs.

Key Accountabilities

• Effectively coordinate and administer functional support work for the Engineering Department. (15%)
• Assists project managers in monitoring expenditures to budget according to the Capital Investment Management polices and procedures. (15%)
• Scan, organize and maintain files, records, drawings, reports, maps, charts, budgets and other data related to engineering and construction projects in accordance with the Record Retention Policy. (60%)
• Perform site visits as required for inspection and data collection. (10%)

Knowledge/Skills

• Good analytical and problem-solving skills.

• Good communication skills.

• Effective interpersonal skills.

• General knowledge of engineering, project management and construction management practices.

• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office including Word, Excel, and Outlook.

Experience/Education

• Enrolled in a Bachelor's degree program in a Engineering-related field.

Work Environment

• Primarily an office environment.
