Role Overview:

Support IT HW Lifecycle and SW License Management.Sunnyvale is the largest site and we need support to develop and implement best practices and processes to manage our HW inventory efficiently

Key Tasks & Responsibility:

  • HW Lifecycle Management:

  • Analyze Stock Levels for upcoming HW Replacements and Disposals

  • Assist with Physical Inventory & Asset Tagging

  • Work with Client Admins to Reconcile data sources

  • Offline Client verification with End Users

  • License Management:

  • Assist with SW Survey activities

  • License Maintenance Renewal

  • Assist with License Ownership investigation

  • Ensure documentation of license - Purchases, Renewals and Transfers

  • Good understanding of MS Office Tools Work, Power Point,Excel (Vlookup, Tables and Pivots Tables), MS Access and SQL Server knowledge helpful but not necessary.

  • Junior/Senior student in collage/University, pursuing a Bachelors in any field related to Information Technology.

  • Must have good academic records.

Job Description :: * Developing tools/scripts for benchmarking storage adapters performance results. * Building tools and systems for the firmware development teams to analyze the hardware/firmware logs obtained from the embedded storage controller firmware. * Assist the firmware development team in building a Continuous Integration (CI) & Continuous Delivery (CD) system for automated build, test and delivery environment using the industry standard tools such as Git, Jenkins, Code coverage, GNU tool chain, Green Hills tool chain, etc., as well as internally developed tools. * Learn to work with hardware debugging tools such as JTAG debugger, SAS & PCIe analyzers to solve complex connectivity issues. Job Requirements * Undergoing a graduate course in Computer Science, Electrical & Electronics majors with exposure to embedded systems architecture. * Strong programming skills with "C" programming language, with experience in using it in the embedded development. * Strong scripting language skills such as Python. Perl and shell scripting. * Strong interpersonal skills to be part of a collaborative development team. * Highly motivated, sets personal goals, and achieves goals without supervision.
