Description
Job Summary: Designs, develops, creates models/assemblies with CAD for various types of HVAC equipment.
Essential Responsibilities/Activities:
Uses computer design software (CAD) to develop models and drawings.
Assists with conceptual and preliminary drawings to be used for the development of products.
Assists with updates and revisions to existing designs.
Assists with improvements to current products.
Will handle design projects that are marked up/handed off.
Confers with engineering management to complete assigned projects.
Collaborates with Engineers, management, and other creative departments to determine design solutions.
Qualifications
Education and Experience Requirements:
Degree(s): None License(s): None Certification(s): None · Enrolled in courses directly related to Engineering or Mechanical Design.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
Familiar with CAD and ability to use Windows
Essential Mental Functions:
Communicates effectively in written and spoken form.
Possesses excellent interpersonal relationship skills.
Exhibits good decision making and analytical problem-solving abilities.
Demonstrates strong multi-tasking capabilities and organizational skills.
Works effectively in a team environment.
Works effectively in a fast-paced high-pressure environment.
Essential Physical Functions:
Lift up to 50lbs.
Sit or stand for up to 95 percent of work hours.
Periodic visits to the manufacturing facility with seasonal hot and cold temperatures, dust, and some chemical fume exposure.
