General Summary:

The McLean Technical Services Team is responsible for deployment, management and support of hardware (computers, printers, scanners, etc) across the McLean main campus and offsite locations. The Technical Services Team is very busy implementing Windows10 and Network Security Policies.

Project responsibilities:

As part of the Windows 10 effort we are requesting an intern to work on data validation and reconciliation across the various computer data bases. Responsibilities include:

  • Running reports via Epic Tools to ensure the accuracy of data

  • Validate data records in ServiceNow

  • Run validation via SCCM query by subnet to inventory machines

  • Run SeviceNow reports to identify end of life machines that should be retired

Required skills:

  • Microsoft Excel- comparing multiple worksheets/workbooks for differences, creation of pivot tables, formula calculations, etc

The Assistant Director of Student Services works under the Director of Student Services in the leadership and management of a comprehensive PreK-12 Department of Student Services. The mission and role of the department is to ensure that all students of the Belmont Public Schools are provided and able to access a rigorous curriculum and can fully participate in school life. Responsibilities include the development, implementation, supervision and evaluation of all support services, programs, policies and procedures of the Department of Student Services as determined by the needs of the district and in accordance with DESE and Massachusetts regulations and guidelines. Programs and services include special education and related therapies, support of students experiencing homelessness and/or foster care, homebound and hospital services, and 504 implementation and compliance. The Assistant Director will be responsible for the supervision and evaluation of educators and will participate as a member of the district leadership Council. The successful candidate will hold a Master's degree and a DESE certification as an Administrator of Special Education, have five plus years in a supervisory or school leadership position and possess an in-depth knowledge of DESE Special Education regulations and guidelines. The successful candidate will also have a demonstrated ability to collaborate with families, staff, other administrators, and community agencies. Exceptional interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills are a must. This position is part of the Unit B of the Belmont Education Association. The work year is 221 days.
