The intern will be working on a strategic project developing and implementing a department communication and branding plan.Responsibilities* Develop and implement an internal-department and cross-organization communication plan to provide information to specific parties when updates are needed * Create and measure the success of a brand strategy to improve the department image to the rest of the company and promote their abilities to serve the needs of DTNA (the department value-add)* Promote and maintain a department-wide SharePoint hub concentrating pertinent information for all employees and linking to subgroup sites and tools * Create and manage the department internal social activities, which could include employee recognition, group events, or town hall meetings * Minimum junior level in a Bachelor's degree program (or have graduated in the last 12 months) required* GPA of 3.0 or higher required * An attached resume is required * Full time availability onsite from January 2019 through June 2019 required * Proficiency in Microsoft Office required * Minimum of 12 months of cumulative work experience in a marketing, branding, communications, or sales related field preferred * Proficiency in the areas of Advertising or Marketing as related to Social Media awareness of products or services preferred * Ability to think on your feet/be a self-starter preferred * Excellent communication skills for presentations preferred * Ability to identify tasks and make a plan for implementation preferred * SharePoint experience preferredAdditional Information * Applicants must be legally authorized to work permanently in the U.S. at the time of application. * Final candidate must successfully complete a pre-employment drug screen and criminal background check.* EEO/Minorities/Females/Disabled/VeteransFor an accommodation or special assistance with applying for a posted position, please contact our Human Resources department at 503-745-8982 or toll free 800-206-3369.
