Market America, a Global Product Brokerage and Internet Marketing company that specializes in One-to-One Marketing, is seeking a Content Writing focused Intern and General Assistant for the Public Relations area of our Marketing Team.

Are you interested in a career in TV/radio or print news and want articles that feature your byline to add to your resume? We are looking for someone who loves to write and wants a taste of what it is like to be a part of a news team.

This position also requires someone with an extreme attention to detail and willingness to act as an Assistant to the Public Relations Manager on a day-to-day basis. This position is for our headquarters, located in Greensboro, NC. The preference will be to have the intern on site.

We may consider having a portion of time made available remotely. This will be based on a case-by-case basis for our Fall and Winter semester.

Must have strong writing skills and provide writing samples that include published articles or press releases other than school/college course work.

Please submit three work samples to be considered.

Position Summary

This position will support overall company marketing-related projects with specific focus on Social Media, Search Engine Optimization and Marketing research, as it relates to the key brands within the company.

Education and Experience

College coursework in public relations, marketing, journalism, communications, English, Business Administration or a related field.

Or combination of equivalent experience, education, and training

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Creates content researches, writes, edits and submits original articles on a weekly basis, specific to current PR strategy and related Market America-exclusive products/brands.

Optimizes all articles/releases with SEO rich terms and continuously reviews Google Trends for key terms to include in weekly content.

Assists with a variety of research on an as needed basis as part of the marketing group.
