Currently, we are looking for an Internal Audit Intern to join the ArcBest team. As a member, you will perform Sarbanes-Oxley internal control testing, operational compliance audit procedures and other experience-appropriate audit work under the supervision of an Internal Audit Manager or Supervisor. In addition, the Internal Audit Intern will assist with administrative tasks as assigned.
Your contribution may include:
Perform Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX) Internal Control Testing under the supervision of an internal audit manager or supervisor
Assist with centralized operational compliance audit procedures applied to service center operations
Assist in administrative duties assigned by the Internal Audit Manager or supervisor including, but not limited to, setting up electronic binders, gathering work papers, scanning documents, indexing work papers. This will require obtaining a working knowledge of the electronic work paper management software used by Internal Audit
Other experience-appropriate duties as assigned
As an Internal Audit Intern, you will be a member of the ArcBest Internal Audit team in Fort Smith, AR. Your hours will be Monday through Friday, 8:00am to 5:00pm, with irregular hours that may occur depending on work load.

Must be currently enrolled in a university, seeking a degree in Accounting or Business.
Completion of sophomore year of college, preferred.
