Taylor Strategic Relationships (TSR) is seeking a Business Development Intern. The Business Development intern will support the sales team in developing warm leads, through lead identification and qualification, execution of a multi-step prospecting campaign, and making initial contact via email and phone.
Hours: 8 am to 5 pm, Monday through Friday; up to 40 hours/week
Primary Duties and Responsibilities:
Identify new leads through existing prospect identification processes, lists generated through company-wide marketing activities, and research.
Execute on multi-step prospecting campaign. Work with management to refine market penetration ideas, assemble business plans, communication plans and talk tracks.
Assist sales team by making contact with potential clients via email and phone.
Develop social media presence, specifically LinkedIn, for Vectra and sales team.
Independently manage multiple tasks and projects with competing priorities and deadlines.
Additional duties as assigned.
Junior, Senior or recent graduate with B.A. in Business, Marketing, Communications or related field.
Interest in sales.
Well organized, detail-oriented, tech savvy and enthusiastic.
Familiarity with research tools and practices, preferably in a business setting.
Social media expertise, especially LinkedIn.
Advanced proficiency with MS Office suite Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
Ability to work independently, prioritize, multi-task and problem solve conflicting priorities.
Professional demeanor and ability to discreetly handle confidential and time-sensitive information.
