As a 2021 Summer Intern with FIS, you will have the opportunity to participate in team projects, community service activities, social events, professional development seminars and work alongside team mentors. This is a full time (40hrs/week) paid internship that will begin on June 7, 2021 and conclude on August 13, 2021.

About The Team

As a world-class organization, we require a world-class marketing function to support our business and sales teams, colleagues, investors and clients. Our Marketing group works on everything from innovative digital media, corporate communications, and customer research to brand and campaign management. The creative services team is a group of seasoned designers, videographers, motion graphics artists and problem solvers who are adept at juggling multiple projects, providing innovative solutions and collaborating and interacting with all levels of employees and management.

What You Will Be Doing

You will be helping the team with your considerable talents in graphic design as well as getting a chance to push and sharpen your creative skills. Creatives love variety and we've got plenty of it for you.

  • Print and digital projects including brochures, white papers, eBooks, social media, infographics, and more

  • You'll often be working alongside the communications team to collaborate on certain projects

  • You'll be asked to contribute ideas on emerging technologies to help ensure the work is always cutting edge

  • Design fresh, new and eye-catching consistent graphic solutions to communicate the FIS brand message in all print and digital related avenues

  • Maintains quality control for assigned projects, works closely with the creative team to stay aware of project updates and changes, proactively troubleshoots technical and stylistic aspects of assigned projects and identifies potential problems or opportunities related to assigned projects

  • You will enhance your knowledge of project management methods and techniques to ensure coordination of people (internal clients and external vendors) and processes to achieve desired outcomes

What You Bring

  • Rising Senior (graduating December 2021 through May 2022); preferably majoring in Graphic Design, Marketing or related major

  • Proficiency in Adobe Software (InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop)

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite

  • Self-motivated and willingness to learn

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

  • Creative, visionary, and innovational skills

Added Bonus If You Have

  • Knowledge/understanding of After Effects

About The Team The MISER Implementation is comprised of business analysts and programmers who work closely with clients, internal partners, and each other to successfully implement a range of products. These implementations consist of 3rd party integrations, MISER add-on products, and full system conversions/acquisitions. What You Will Be Doing * You will learn about the three-core implementation focal points within MISER and how they tie together. They are parameters, database fields, and programs/reports. * You will learn about banking. * You will learn the processes a business analyst goes through when working on an application conversion. * You will learn more about FIS and its culture, its core principles, and it's commitment to client engagement. * As you learn that it takes many people to complete a project successfully, you will begin to build relationships with a vast array of people thus building your network of colleagues.
