Government relations interns may be exposed to a variety of activities, including: assisting with legislative and/or regulatory committee monitoring and policy development; researching legislative issues and topics; reading, analyzing and following legislation through the legislative process; establishing and maintaining positive working relationships with legislators, governing officials and staffs; assisting with other duties as required.

Prefer students who are projected to graduate in December 2019 or spring 2020. Students with an interest in government relations, policy development and energy advocacy preferred.
Sophomore students projected to graduate in winter 2020 or spring 2021 may also be considered.
Prefer students to have a GPA of above 3.0 as well as involvement in extracurricular, community support activities, particularly those demonstrating leadership. Prior work experience (internships, summer or part-time work while attending school, etc.) is also preferred.
