DESCRIPTION/OPPORTUNITY

CBRE is looking for interns to support our IT GlobalEnterprise Platform team. This 10-week paid internship program will be basedin our Richardson, TX office. This will be a great opportunity for studentsto learn more about the roles in our Digital & Tech organization.

Aboutthe role:

The Intern Global Platform role is a rotationalbased internship that will rotate through core IT disciplines such asNetworking, Linux, Storage, Windows OS and Database administration.

Theinternship accelerates your learning and development by providing you with astrong foundation upon which to build your IT career. The program providesyou with a unique perspective on our integrated service lines. As a programparticipant, you will also partake in learning and development activitiesdesigned especially for you.

What we're looking for:

Currentlypursuing a bachelor's or master's degree

Minimum3.0 undergrad GPA

Problemsolving and communication skills

Self-motivated,creative and disciplined

Bonus points for:

Academicbackground in business or real estate

Knowledgeof the commercial real estate industry

An internship with Collins Aerospace is intended to allow students to gain practical, hands-on experience in the engineering field and is designed to complement the theoretical knowledge learned in a college classroom. Through this opportunity, you will also be able to shadow more experienced engineers and learn processes and tools first hand through this experience. You will be expected to both learn from and contribute to the internship program. The ideal candidate will possess a strong academic background/performance and experience in working in a team environment. Familiarity with hardware or software tools as appropriate for your academic level is also a must. Depending on the individual's area of interest and experience responsibilities may include: * Participating as a team member in detailed circuit design * Hardware/Software Integration * Functional analysis * Modeling and development of designs Desired skills: * A strong interest in the hardware or software development area and someone who thrives in a collaborative team environment. * Interest and/or coursework in any of the following areas: digital, analog, power and mixed signal circuit card assemblies, FPGA/VHDL programming or ASIC support, sustaining and production electronics support, components engineering, and product development engineering. * Strong verbal and written communication skills. * Desire to learn real-world applications of engineering processes.
