GENEWIZ is seeking an Intern to join our Genetic Analysis Department. Our paid internship program runs from June - August 2020.

Title: Intern, Genetic Analysis

Location: San Diego (La Jolla), CA


  • Mapping and troubleshooting laboratory process workflows

  • Implementing primer storage application system

  • Assisting Sanger Sequencing laboratory personnel, as needed


  • Strong record-keeping skills and attention to detail

  • Excellent interpersonal and verbal and written communication skills

  • Ability to closely follow Standard Operating Procedures (SOP)

  • Be an effective team-player
