Supports the Fixed Asset Accounting department as assigned.
Tasks and Responsibilities
Processing work order set up and completion notices
Assist in monthly closing activities including journal entries and reconciliations
Data mining & data manipulation
Documenting departmental procedures for key tasks
Working in spreadsheets
Attending meetings with management & potentially senior management.
Qualifications, Skills and Abilities
Requires enrollment at an accredited four-year college or university. Ideal candidate would be a Finance/Accounting major entering their junior year.
Seniors are eligible to apply. Strongly prefer 3.0 GPA or above. Requires professional demeanor and strong interpersonal skills.
Excellent computer skills.
Experience using Microsoft Excel is preferred. Strong math, statistics or accounting skills.
Recent completion of a Technical Writing or Business Writing course preferred. Good time management and organizational skills. Aptitude to analyze data to make a business case for recommendations.
Great oral and written communication skills. Ability to conduct research using the internet or other tools.
