Role Responsibilities:

• Install conduit.

• Run wire/cable through conduit.

• Wire a motor.

• Operate a fork and scissor lift.

• Follow Project outline as outlined in Internship agreement,

• Perform additional duties associated with Plant Maintenance

Qualifications

Required:

• Fundamental knowledge of electrical systems

• Basic Microsoft Office Suite and basic technical writing skills

• Moving around the chemical plant a lot, sit in chair parts of the day, standing on feet for long periods of time.

• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.

• High School Diploma or GED

• Working towards Bachelor Degree in a STEM field or a trade certification

Preferred:

• Intermediate knowledge of:

• Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Visio

• Technical Writing

• Chemical Processes, Equipment, and Materials (specific to their area)

• Good presentation and communication (writing and verbal) skills

• 2 years experience in a chemical manufacturing facility
