The Digital Strategy Intern will support key initiatives on the Digital Strategy team, focused mainly on enhancing our Consumer Online Banking platform (COLB). This individual will support testing needs, as well as needed project documentation for future phases. Individual will test the new platform against business requirements while tracking progress and defects. This individual will also develop business requirements for future phases of utilizing the platform. Additionally, this individual will have the opportunity to identify opportunities within the platform for customer experience improvements, revenue gains, and cost saves and put together a recommendation for future work.
Assist with end to end testing of the middleware change for Consumer Online Banking
Track system testing progress and defects, driving towards on-time completion
Assist in documentation of business requirements for roadmap work for Consumer Online Banking
Work with vendors to ensure the system solution satisfies the business requirements
Meet with decision makers, systems owners, and end users to document business, financial, and operations requirements and systems goals
Assist with design documentation (data flow diagrams, workflows) working across the organization for documenting integration points between systems
Perform troubleshooting role in triage mode in alignment with the Problem and Incident Troubleshooting process.
Provide bench strength to the Digital Strategy team through assistance with business as usual activity and projects that progress forward Union's digital strategy
Prepare final recommendation for how to leverage the new platform for customer experience improvements, revenue gains, and cost saves
This position will report to the Digital Product Manager Enterprise Utilities.
Requirements Position Qualifications
Experience in the field of business administration, computer science, engineering, or management information systems or equivalent work experience, preferred
Must be at least 18 years old
Current enrollment in an accredited college or university is required, and Students must be undergraduates entering their junior or senior year or currently pursuing a graduate level degree
Must be available to work a 40 hour week, Monday through Friday, within Richmond, VA AND begin work during the week of 5/20
Must submit a resume and cover letter highlighting accomplishments, professional and academic goals, and expectations of this internship position
Submission of transcripts showing a G.P.A. of 3.0 or equivalent, and two professional or academic references
