Position Description

The internship role provides students with the opportunity to apply academic knowledge and skills in a professional environment, and to support/promote career goals through contact with professionals in their field of study. The internship experience enables students to participate in professional activities for Volvo Financial Services (VFS) by working on important and innovative projects. Internships are structured learning experiences where interns and full time professionals work together on projects within their selected organization. The internship allows students to integrate knowledge and skills in a manner that is mutually beneficial to them and Volvo Financial Services (VFS).

Position Responsibilities:

  • Assist in improvements/redesign of the Credit Reporting Package

  • Collaborate with other departments and review possibility of streamlining certain processes

  • Use knowledge of Credit process to help create test script to test Credit Scorecard/auto-decisioning process

  • Any other duties and projects, as assigned.

Essential Skills and Required Experience:

To be considered for this internship, applicants:

  • Must be pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration Management, Finance, Accounting, Statistics, Mathematics, Economics or similar and in school full-time.

  • Summer Interns are required to work 40 hours or less per week

  • Applicants must have a minimum cumulative grade point average of 3.0

  • Must have completed 30 semester hours prior to the start of the internship

  • Have experience prioritizing work effectively and multi-tasking in a fast-paced environment

  • Have proven interpersonal communications skills

  • Proficient in MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint. Expert level in Excel preferred.

  • Knowledge of Business Intelligence and Data Analytics is preferred

  • Fully proficient in reading, writing and speaking English, additional languages a plus

Internship starts on May 18th and ends on August 14th, 2020.

VIEW JOBS 1/26/2020 12:00:00 AM 2020-04-25T00:00 Position Overview The Greensboro Swarm is seeking a hard-working, outgoing, and dedicated individual to become an integral part of our NBA G League team. The Business Operations Intern will be responsible for assisting in the daily operations of the department through hands-on involvement with the President and Business Manager of the Swarm. You will gain valuable and practical experience with all business units. Further, you will acquire a deep understanding of how the various parts of a professional sports organization work together to produce successful business operations. This is a non-paid internship and requires the individual to receive college credit to be considered (no exceptions). You will receive two payments of a $1,000.00 stipend. The stipend is provided for transportation, food and parking expenses. You will need to be able to work 20-40 hours per week. Hours may include evenings and/or weekends. Hours will include most arena events, throughout the semester that may occur on evenings and/or weekends, including Arena Events and Swarm games.
