General Summary/ Overview Statement:
As part of a quality and efficiency initiative, Partners recently embarked on a project to convert all hospital medical staff offices to a single enterprise software system. The staff offices had previously all been working in separate systems. The new system is paperless; it includes automated tools to verify provider information, such as license and board certifications. It also allows the staff offices to send out applications to new providers via an online app, and track the applicants through the hospital approval process. Providers who will bill for services are run through a payer enrollment process using the software.
The Partners Information Systems Credentialing Team is responsible for the software deployment at each hospital. There will be a total of 8 "phases" or go-lives. The first go-live implementation was recently achieved, and there will be new hospital deployments every two months until completion of the project in 2020.
Assist with configuration of the software for upcoming hospital implementations. This could include authorizing users, building system tables, creating forms and documents within the system, and other "build" tasks.
Help with software deployment go-lives, most notably the Newton-Wellesley hospital implementation in July 2019.
