The Business Operations Group in the Compute & Networking Business Unit has an exciting internship opportunity for a driven and energetic individual.

As an intern, you will work as an individual contributor on one or more projects at a time. You will gain exposure to Micron's business in the Graphics, Networking, PC/Ultrathin, and Enterprise & Cloud segments. In addition to working with CNBU's Marketing and Operations Teams you will also gain cross functional exposure to Supply Chain, Engineering, Manufacturing, and other Business Unit Teams.

Responsibilities:

  • Own an assigned business project and deliver the final product to management at the end of the internship.

  • Assist various Team Members with ad hoc business analysis in supporting the CNBU decision-making processes.

  • Identify and solve complex business problems using quantitative and qualitative analysis of data.

  • Support multiple projects at a time in a fast-paced, intense, results-oriented environment.

Qualifications:

  • Track record of academic success and achievement.

  • Strong analysis and problem-solving skills.

  • Strong communication and presentation skills.

  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft PowerPoint.

  • Interest in the memory and information technology industries.

Education:

  • The ideal candidate will be pursuing a Bachelor's Degree in business, supply chain, economics, finance or marketing.

Provide strategic and operational business planning support to the Director of Global Business Operations in Managed Print Services. Managed Print Services Global Operations is of strategic importance to HP's contractual print business and carries a broad scope of responsibility. These responsibilities currently include: business process improvement, development of world class operations, new process and system deployment, new service/capability introductions, and channel partner experience. This business planner role directly supports the business ops director to ensure her and her direct staff have the environment they need for the organization to be successful. A college/MBA intern will be considered for this role in order to foster career education and development investment plans. Key Responsibilities: * Ensure the Success of MPS Global Business Ops and help make staff more productive overall. * Strategic Objective/Goal setting/Tracking: work with Lana and staff to evaluate and update our strategic plan; ensure complete alignment to MPS strategy; hold quarterly reviews of progress against commitments; follow-up on get-well plans for any programs at risk. Summarize and communicate accomplishment. * Presentation creation & coordination: clearly communicate at all levels of our strategy, programs and progress against commitments; expected to create or edit as needed to meet review/presentation schedule. * Financial management: work closely with finance liaison to monitor spending patterns to ensure budget is well utilized without exceeding commitments; submit monthly plans; address any changes or questions related to overall spend. * Administrative Projects: many of these are cascade down from MPS senior leadership such as initiative planning, workforce planning, employee initiatives, etc. * Employee Engagement: analyze the Voice-Insight-Action (VIA) results and work with leaders to establish an improvement plan; communicate to organization; provide updates on progress. * Business Planners forum: work closely with other business planners at the MPS levels as well as those from the region teams to drive results * Advisor: be an advisor to and sounding board for staff as needed; many challenges and trade-off decisions benefit from the perspective of this role.
