SUMMARY OF JOB DESCRIPTION
Intern will assist with process mapping of employee events that will be usable for process automation. Intern will provide recommendations based on observations of opportunities to streamline actions.
DESCRIPTION OF ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

Ensure all actions are consistent with NorthWestern Energy's values, mission, and strategic business objectives
Review documentation, gather data, and conduct interviews to understand process requirements to convert to a process map
Help brainstorm ideas to improve efficiency by identifying process bottlenecks, repetition, error contributors and delays
Organize and facilitate process walkthrough
Perform some employee and retiree data maintenance to better understand process requirements
Participate in organizational work meetings
Lifting of materials up to 35 pounds
Must be able to demonstrate a good safety record
Must possess strong interpersonal and written communication skills
Proficient in Microsoft Office products, particularly Outlook, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
Prefer Business Technology/Analytics background
Process mapping experience preferred (academic experience included)
Student must have completed Sophomore level or higher by start date
Must be in good academic standing
Must Provide GPA in Resume upon application
