Position Summary

SAGE Therapeutics is searching for a creative, resourceful, integrative thinker for an important role as the Commercial Insights Intern. This person will be involved with projects including competitive intelligence, building product forecasting models, performing Market research studies comparisons, and other projects as needed. This individual will work in a cross-functional setting with members of the Investor Relations, Marketing, Commercial Data Analytics, Business Insights, and other groups.

What You'll Do

  • Build a forecasting model for Zulresso

  • Execute Market Research studies comparison (Healthcare Professional Demand Studies) by converting results from Awareness Trial & Usage (ATUs) and aligning to Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)

  • Work closely with other members of the Commercial Insights including Forecasting and Analytics Lead

  • Complete ad-hoc projects as needed for the Commercial Operations team

  • Background or active interest in Mathematics and Data Analysis.

  • Technical background, proficiency in MS Office products (basic data manipulation in Excel, strong PowerPoint presentation skills).

  • Experience working with all levels of management and consulting with key business stakeholders. An ability to influence for greater outcomes.

  • Strong team player that has a customer service approach and is solution oriented.

  • Entry-level knowledge of Forecasting and Data Analysis tools (Crystal Ball, @Risk, etc) preferred.

  • Pharmaceutical Industry experience/background preferred.

  • Attention to detail and the ability to work individually, within a multi-disciplinary team, as well as with external partners and vendors.

Job Summary: The Senior Manager, Commercial Event Planning and Operations will lead the cross-functional planning and execution of major commercial meetings and events, including congresses, POAs and business unit meetings, advisory boards, and other key internal and external commercial events. He/she will be a critical member of the commercial operations team and play a key role in preparing for and executing upcoming product launches. Responsibilities: * Manages and executes major internal and external meetings and events for all commercial functions, coordinating with medical affairs, public affairs, IR and other teams as necessary. * Drives the cross-functional strategic planning process for all POAs and other business unit meetings. Drives alignment on strategy, messaging and execution and project manages content development. * Drives planning meetings that involve cross-functional teams. Develops and manages project timelines and action plans in collaboration with cross-functional partners and ensures all deadlines are met. * Leads logistical pre-event planning, onsite execution and post event wrap-up to include surveys, debriefs, and budget reconciliation. * Works cross-functionally to develop an integrated approach to US and major global congresses, aligning strategy and execution; leads a congress planning team. * Works cross-functionally and with brand teams and medical affairs to develop and implement an integrated approach to the management of advisory boards, including planning, execution and insight dissemination. * Works independently or with external vendors to research venues, negotiate contract terms, and oversee logistics. * Manages vendors to ensure vendor deliverables and timelines are successfully met to expectations. Qualifications and Capabilities: * At least 7-10 years of relevant industry experience meeting planning and execution, communications, and/or marketing operations. * Previous experience leading the planning and execution of national sales meetings/POAs strongly preferred. * Strong drive for results and ability to work in a self-directed manner with minimal oversight. * Excellent cross-functional collaboration skills; can build relationships and lead teams without direct authority. * Strong project management skills; develops and executes project plans and can lead others to do so. * Excels in a fast-paced, results-driven, highly accountable environment where you can make a clear impact * Travel 25- 50% of the time is required All applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, religion, age, sex, national origin, disability or protected veteran status.
