SUMMARY

The Commercial Execution Intern will play a critical role in ensuring execution against and analyzing impact of MUSA collective sales strategies, tools, and initiatives, particularly in the field sales "Priority Account Universe". This role will develop tracking tools using our sales reporting systems and CRM platform KARMA Notes to analyze how strategy and team behavior translate to sales results. Role will collaborate with region leaders to identify executional opportunities, remove roadblocks, and educate the greater team on best practices from high performing areas. Role serves as a steward for creating and achieving MUSA strategic commercial goals.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Supports Mahou USA Core Values and Purpose.

  • Aid in the creation, strategic direction, and tracking of sales initiatives / standards created in collaboration with the Commercial Leadership Team.

  • Build performance dashboard to analyze ongoing impact of our internal Mortal Bloom launch incentive in terms of incremental volume vs plan, permanent placements earned, and ROI.

  • Track national and regional programing assets to assess program effectiveness and swiftness / scale of asset deployment.

  • Own Field Commitment Summary reporting tool used ensure retail commitments landed by the greater team are delivered and selling efforts are balanced across regions. Analyze trends and identify regions / SKUs driving them.

  • Track & validate summer holiday BDM display goals to ensure displays built meet MUSA "5 Star Execution" standards.

  • Set and track behavioral standards for various channels in BDM "Priority Account Universe". Ensuring the team is swift and thorough in these must win accounts.

  • Act as a collaborator and resource with sales leadership to ensure sales goals and initiatives are met. Remove roadblocks where needed and provide guidance.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Pursuing studies or recently graduated with a focus on business, data analytics, or related field.

  • Understanding of alcohol industry and 3-tiered system.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite with an emphasis on Excel and PowerPoint.

  • Ability to quickly learn various reporting platforms.

  • Ability to pull, manipulate, and derive meaning from large data sets. Tell a story from data and make complex ideas simple.

  • Attention to detail and ability to prevent little things from turning into bigger problems downstream.

  • Collaborator with the ability to recognize and understand multiple viewpoints. Keep organizational goals in mind but able to adapt to different circumstances throughout the organization. Valued team player.

  • Effective leadership and interpersonal skills. Must have the ability to communicate and influence at different levels of the organization.

  • Distinguished written and verbal communication skills including strong presentation skills.

  • Demonstrated ability in taking initiative to seek out opportunities and solve problems.
