Intern (Commercial Construction) - Your Job Duties:

You will mentor alongside the Owner, and provide support to the Estimating and Project teams with office operations functions including:

• Work in the office to receive and organize bid invites and project related documents 
• Assemble proposal and bid packages for new work, from assisting with identifying the opportunity through a detailed review of the requirements, typing and assembling all of the information for the bid, working directly with the project estimating team regarding pricing
• Research and obtain information about bids not awarded (who the winning bid went to, price)
• Visit job sites periodically to obtain information about the project, including basic calculations to support bids, proposals and team progress updates

Intern (Commercial Construction) – You Have:

• Ability to work in office in Yuba City, California (part time, 20 hours or less)
• Comfort with walking job sites, supporting estimating and field team needs, and whatever else is necessary, without ego
• Comfort with working in MS Office Suite (primarily MS Excel and OneDrive)
• Excellent organizational skills. You pride yourself on your data entry accuracy and a high attention to detail
• Experience, exposure or passion for the trades / construction industry
• Current enrollment in a college or university program related to construction, engineering, or related field of study

This role is 100% on site in Yuba City, part time (20 hours or less).

Compensation $20+ per hour, depending on experience, overtime eligible.

This role requires successful completion of a background check and drug test prior to first day.
