The location for this internship is in Bridgeport, West Virginia at Pratt & Whitney Engine Services (PWES), an aftermarket overhaul & repair business unit. Site has approximately 350 full-time employees. PWES is seeking interns to work during the summer months of 2019.
The goal of the Intern program is to enhance the student's academic training, professional growth, and personal development. Responsibilities include:
Leading continuous improvement projects such as migration of current HR website to SharePoint and creating standard work
Supporting Human Resources with various projects
Exposed to multiple facets of Human Resources and processes, such as but not limited to, recruiting/hiring, development and coaching, performance management, and employee engagement
Education / Certifications:
Must be currently enrolled in Bachelor's or Master's degree from an accredited school, with a target degree in Business or other related field.
Minimum 3.0 GPA required.
Experience / Qualifications:
Applicants will have completed their freshmen year at an accredited university but have not yet graduated.
Applicants must have experience in multi-tasking, planning, organizing, and problem solving.
Strong attention to detail and excellent written and verbal communication skills are a must.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Outlook, Excel, and PowerPoint) is required.
Experience with SharePoint or a similar program is preferred.
