Intern, AI/ ML With Deep Learning, Forecasting

Primary Duties & Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and implement AI-powered forecasting tools, leveraging techniques like time series analysis, deep learning, and reinforcement learning.

• Explore and apply state-of-the-art forecasting methodologies, potentially including Generative AI for scenario modeling.

• Collaborate closely with finance and business teams to understand their forecasting needs and evaluate the effectiveness of AI solutions.

• Contribute to a centralized AI toolkit, utilizing modern platforms and technologies.

• Produce thorough documentation for AI projects to ensure clarity, reproducibility, and knowledge transfer.

• Adhere to DevOps principles and rigorous data security policies.

Education & Experience

• Minimum of 2 years enrolled in a finance, economics, engineering, computer science, or related undergraduate program.

• Strong programming background required; 2+ years of hands-on Python programming experience.

Skills

• Required:

• Exceptional Python proficiency, especially with data analysis libraries (e.g., pandas, NumPy).

• Understanding of forecasting concepts and methodologies.

• Solid foundation in statistics and/or machine learning.

• Experience with code versioning/management tools (e.g., Git).

• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.

• Highly Desirable:

• Experience with financial data providers (e.g., Bloomberg, Refinitiv).

• Familiarity with time series analysis libraries (e.g., Prophet, Statsmodels).

• Experience with deep learning frameworks (e.g., TensorFlow, PyTorch).
