Summary:

Unique opportunity to experience full exposure of the Accounting functions at a publicly held company located in Boca Raton, FL. Gain hands on experience as you assist in driving cross departmental initiatives and special projects for our accounts payable, accounts receivable, financial accounting, financial reporting, treasury management and accounting policy departments. Summer and fall internship opportunities available.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Performing walkthroughs with key stakeholders.

  • Providing clear and concise process documentation including process work flows.

  • Gathering data and conducting guided research and analysis.

  • Documenting functional requirements.

  • Compiling financial information related to certain business functions.

  • Other projects and duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

Education and/or Experience:

  • High School Diploma or GED required.

  • Accounting degree seeking student.

  • Must be proficient in Excel.

  • Prior work experience is a plus.

Language Skills:

  • Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence and memos.

Mathematical Skills:

  • Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, proportions, percentages, area and volume.

Reasoning Ability:

  • Ability to carry out instruction furnished in written, oral or diagram form.

Responsible for capital planning analysis in support of delivery of budgets, forecasts and strategic plans. Plays a key role in leading special finance projects.
