Position Summary: The Home Building Intermediate Accountant will be responsible for key accounting tasks for assigned home building facilities.

Duties / Responsibilities:

• Maintain the general ledger.

• Weekly and Monthly reporting.

• Month-end close activities.

• Analysis of financials.

• Maintain fixed asset reporting.

• Oversight of A/R and A/P.

• Additional support / special projects as needed for assigned locations.

• Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's (4 year) degree in Accounting or Finance. Additional education a plus.

• 2+ years' prior experience in related field.

• Ability to travel to various Home Building Locations, as needed.

• Must be quality minded, detail oriented, ability to multitask, and have good organizational skills.

• Must be able to solve complex problems, analyze and communicate effectively with all levels of personnel and management.

• Must continuously use the highest level of personal integrity and business ethics. Faithfully executes all applicable regulations of local, state and federal authorities.

• Great Attention to detail, organizational and analytical skills.

• Must have intermediate to advanced excel skills with a working knowledge of Word and Access.

Physical Demands:

• Must be able to consistently operate a computer and other office productivity machinery such as telephone, calculator, copy machine, computer printer, etc.

• Must be able to communicate with others via phone, email, and in person. Must be able to exchange accurate information with others.

• Constantly works in an indoor, temperature-controlled, sealed-window office environment.

• Work primarily involves sitting / standing.
