The Intermediary National Sales Manager at Wells Fargo Asset Management (WFAM) is responsible for overseeing wholesaler managers and wholesaler teams that are accountable for providing strategic consultation on product solutions for internal and external investment distribution channels. Responsibilities include: management and oversight; developing distribution plans and budgets; assisting marketing and portfolio management staff in developing and launching new products; and maintaining relationships with assigned intermediaries, connecting clients to the firm.
The position must reside in one of Wells Fargo Asset Management home office locations of Boston, San Francisco, or Menomonee Falls Wisconsin.

Accomplish management responsibilities which include sourcing and hiring talented team members, providing ongoing coaching and feedback, recognizing and developing team members, identifying and managing risks, and completing daily management tasks.
Ability to travel up to 50% of the time
10+ years of sales experience
5+ years of management experience
Successfully completed FINRA Series 7, 24, and 63 (or 66) exams to qualify for immediate registration (or FINRA recognized equivalents)
Experience driving for results, applying a sense of urgency, and bringing issues to closure in a decisive manner despite obstacles and opposition
Extensive technical skills and understanding of data architecture
Ability to work effectively in a team environment and across all organizational levels; where flexibility, collaboration, and adaptability are important
Ability to communicate effectively with all levels of associates and clients
Effective presentation skills
Other Desired Qualifications
10+ years of management experience, with at least 5+ years of experience leading a distribution team
Experience in asset management and solid understanding of competitive landscape of brokerage industry
Proficient in coaching others
Obtaining and/or maintaining appropriate Financial Industry Regulatory Authority (FINRA) license(s) is required for ongoing employment in this position. In addition state registration, specific product licenses or SAFE licensing may apply. Additional requirements include meeting enhanced financial fitness and criminal background standards. Wells Fargo will initiate the FINRA review process at the time of offer acceptance.
For specific FINRA qualification exams obtained after 9/30/2018, the Securities Industry Essentials (SIE) exam co-requisite may also be required
