CallisonRTKL seeks an experienced Interior Designer to join its Workplace team located in Seattle. As an Interior Designer at CallisonRTKL, you will join a highly collaborative and creative team, dedicated to excellence in design and innovative problem solving. The ideal candidate for this position will be organized, detailed-oriented, and a self-starting individual driven to succeed.

Responsibilities

  • Participates in the interior design and/or documentation effort for Workplace interiors projects of varying sizes

  • Collaborates on all phases of the design process including programming client needs, conceptual and schematic design, design development and construction document preparation

  • Generates project program documents, space planning concepts and 3D perspective views for presentation to the client team

  • Participates in the specification of furniture systems and finish materials for each project

  • Coordinates with consultants, furniture dealers, product reps and fabricators to meet overall project objectives

  • Aids in managing client's expectations, team communications and consultant coordination

  • Supports business development and marketing efforts

  • Contributes to CallisonRTKL' s office culture including participation in office activities, initiatives and learning programs

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Interior Design, Interior Architecture, Architecture or related design field

  • 4+ years of related interior design experience, with a focus on corporate interiors

  • Strong knowledge of the design process, including color and materials, furniture systems FF&E and specifications

  • Experience with Revit, AutoCAD, SketchUp, and Affinity

  • Ability to focus on a single project or multiple, concurrent projects in various stages of development

  • Ability to work well in a team environment

  • Ability to communicate design ideas and direction quickly, both verbally and graphically

  • Strong leadership, organization, communication and relationship management skills

  • LEED accreditation preferred

The ideal candidate for this position will be organized, detailed-oriented, and a self-starting individual driven to succeed.
