Modsy is a fast-growing SF-based startup that intersects design and technology and allows customers to virtually see available furniture from retailers in renderings based on the customer's sized to scale 3d room. This is a tech position for Interior Designers to work from their home office, in real time with our SF Headquarters, and other remote stylists across the country!

This opportunity is an entry level/junior designer position for candidates who want to be part of a startup changing the ID world.


We are looking for contractor stylists that can commit up to 40 hours per week, minimum 4-hour shifts from 7:00 am

  • 6 pm PST, including weekend hours to style and layout customer spaces.

Must have excellent communication and organization to meet hard deadlines of 2 hours per customer space.

Minimum (Required) Qualifications

Bachelors Degree, preferred background in Interior Design, Art History, or Architecture,

Retail furniture design experience

Flexibility with working for fast-paced tech startup

Relevant interior design work experience

Must be able to work in the US

E-Styling experience preferred

Technically savvy

  • Have experience with Auto-CAD, SketchUp, etc,

Computer Requirements:

Our software can only run on certain models if you have either a Mac or Windows computer, it needs to have the following specs:


  • Any desktop Mac not older than 2015

  • 20' Monitor +

  • MacBook Pro or Air Mid-2015 and later

  • 8 Gb of RAM


  • Intel HD 4000 graphics or better

  • 8 Gb of RAM

  • 20' Monitor +

  • Fast Internet speed, may require upgrading internet service

  • Computer must be 2015 or newer
