Cordia Resources by Cherry Bekaert is partnered with a leading gym and fitness franchise business who is seeking an Interim Senior Accountant to join their team on a 3+ month contract basis.Title: Interim Senior Accountant
Location: Hybrid - Charlotte, NC
Hourly Rate: $40.00/hour
Job Type: Contract (3+ Months)This role is crucial in supporting the Controller and ensuring smooth financial operations during a transitional period. The ideal candidate will have experience with Netsuite and proficiency in ADP, Mindbody, and Expedel software.Responsibilities:

• Assist with month-end close procedures including reconciliations, journal entries, and financial reporting.
• Process payroll and ensure accuracy and timeliness.
• Conduct financial analysis to support decision-making processes.
• Collaborate closely with the Controller to ensure compliance with accounting policies and procedures.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance.
• 3+ years of experience in accounting roles, preferably in a senior or lead capacity.
• Experience with Netsuite is heavily preferred; familiarity with ADP, Mindbody, and Expedel is advantageous.
• Strong understanding of GAAP and financial reporting standards.
• Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
