If youre open to an interim contract role and you have the HR knowledge to support our client then keep reading. Our client in San Francisco, CA is looking for an experienced Interim Human Resources Director who is people-focused, motivated and organized.
What you'll do:
Build and oversee the internal HR department and provide support for the design, implementation, communication and administration of company HR initiatives.
Provide consulting and leadership on a variety of generalist HR topics.
Build out HR department, policies, procedures, and documentation.
Assess current policy/procedures and correct by implementing new scalable ones that align with companys current and future growth.
Ensure the company is compliant with international, federal, state and local legal requirements. Provide insight and guidance that protects the company from a compliance and liability standpoint for all major company initiatives.
Work closely with remote leaders to ensure HR practices align with company values across the organization.
Manage employee relations issues, including conflict resolution, initial performance concerns and various other issues.
Develop the overall capability of the HR team to align with company goals.
Work closely with managers on recruiting process from identifying hiring needs to new employee on-boarding.
Design and establish employee development programs.
Assist in company-wide initiatives designed to recognize performance through bonus, employee reviews, other types of programs, and ensure a regular review process.
Establish a training program for managers on interviewing, hiring, terminations, promotions, performance reviews, safety, sexual harassment and other key areas as identified by executives.
Oversee benefits program and ensure company is competitive with Bay Area, US and Canada with respect to HR policies and benefits program
What we're looking for:
Bachelors degree is required, preferably in HR or related field
Knowledge of International, federal, state and local compliance and legislation
5 to 8 years of supervisory experience as a HR Generalist or HR Manager is required.
Compensation and Benefits experience preferred
Technical Recruiting experience outside the Bay Area
Gaming or related industry experience preferred
Working knowledge of ADP or related payroll database preferred
International HR experience (Canada) preferred
Able to travel by air and/or ground overnight as necessary.
