Interim Directors Of Nursing (Don), RN For Palmer Healthcare Center

EF Senior Care is recruiting for an Interim or Permanent Director of Nursing for Palmer Health Center, a family owned and operated skilled nursing facility with an excellent CMS 4 start rating. The ideal candidate will have prior experience as a DON in long term care, and terrific team building skills. Facility Responsibilities of the Director of Nursing:

The ideal candidate will be a RN with a current MA license, with at least 2 years of prior experience in a Skilled Nursing Facility.

The qualified candidate will show some of the following abilities:

• Lead the nursing staff in delivering excellent care to patients and offering quality support
• to the medical staff
• Ensure that each nurse on staff is properly certified and abides by the standards for
• care established by our organization and state and federal laws
• Create new policies and update existing policies to help improve the level of care for
• each patient
• Implement quality improvement programs designed to help us deliver the highest
• possible levels of service
• Ensure that all patient care plans have the documentation necessary to provide the
• proper type of care
• Knowledge of and prior experience with annual DPH surveys with excellent results
• Facilitates building of positive culture and morale among the nursing department and
• facility as a whole.
