Interim Clinical Educator, OR

HCT seeks an experienced nursing professional to serve as the interim Operating Room Clinical Nurse Educator, at a 40 bed hospital in Northern California.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Assessing, creating, and teaching educational material to current OR nursing staff
• Sustaining clinical competencies
• Support bedside nurses with knowledge, skill, attitude, and judgement at the bedside
• Overseeing bedside nurses skill improvements
• Building partnerships with clinical leaders
• Joint Commission survey readiness

Requirements:

• Education: BSN required; MSN preferred
• Experience: Minimum of 5 years’ experience as an Educator; Operating Room nursing experience; Will consider a Nurse Manager that has Educator experience, with at least 2 years of management or leadership experience
• License: Active California RN license required
• Certifications: BLS through the American Heart Association
• Computer Skills: EMR experience (EPIC preferred) and Microsoft Office suite (e.g., MS Word, MS PowerPoint, etc.)

All expenses are covered while on assignment including housing, airfare, transportation, and trips home during the assignment.
