Interim Clinical Educator

HCT seeks an experienced nursing professional to serve as the interim Clinical Nurse Educator, at a 200+ bed hospital in Northern California.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Assessing, creating, and teaching educational material to nursing staff
• Supporting nurses transitioning as a new hire, transferring into a new specialty, and new graduate nurse residents
• Support bedside nurses with knowledge, skill, attitude, and judgement at the bedside
• Building partnerships  with clinical leaders
• Joint Commission survey readiness

Requirements:

• Education: BSN required; MSN preferred
• Experience: Minimum of 5 years’ experience as an Educator; clinical bedside acute care nursing experience; Clinical bedside experience in telemetry and medical surgical specialty
• License: Active California RN license required
• Certifications: BLS through the American Heart Association
• Computer Skills: EMR experience and Microsoft Office suite (e.g., MS Word, MS PowerPoint, etc.)

All expenses are covered while on assignment including housing, airfare, transportation, and trips home during the assignment.
