Job Description

POSITION SUMMARY:

Assists the Human Resources Benefits, Absence and Compliance teams in providing interim administrative and human resources support during the implementation of P4p system. Partners on managerial, programmatic and oversight support on such activities as reporting, invoice review, proposals, new program implementations and entity plan design integration. Contributes to ad-hoc departmental projects and initiatives.

HOURS: Hours 8:30 am - 5:00 pm

No Holidays/Weekends. 40 hours/week

Interim timeline is anticipated May 2024-March 2025

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: Qualified individuals must have the ability (with or without reasonable accommodation) to perform the following duties:

  • Prepares and delivers monthly finance, Benefits Advisory Council, total rewards/benefits costs (PEPM and PMPM) and other ad-hoc reporting.

  • Serves as one of the points of contact for departmental invoice review and approvals.

  • Responsibility for the management of implementing the Lancaster Safety Council benefit programs; to include health, dental, vision, life insurance, short term disability and retirement.

  • Oversight for annual Human Resources policy review, includes collecting documented changes, entering into Policy Center by Regulatory Team deadlines and organizing an outline of significant changes to be shared with Human Resources leadership and healthcare system leaders by end of the calendar year.

  • Provides leadership oversight for several on-going implementation/integration management tasks defined as follows -

  • July 1, 2024 - Annual mandatory training cycle change from July 1 - April 1 to rolling year (KnowledgeLink);

  • January 1, 2025 - Tuition assistance outsourcing from insourced administration (Edcor); and

  • July 1, 2025 - Alignment with UPHS TPA (CBC to IBC).

  • Participates in plan design change discussions associated with integration of health and welfare benefit plans across the UPHS system.

  • Coordinates and tracks workflows and projects through the department and/or organization to ensure compliance and/or healthcare system deadlines are met.

SECONDARY FUNCTIONS: The following duties are considered secondary to the primary duties listed above:

  • Acts as back-up resource for department lead, including but not limited to, directing the work of team members in Benefits, Absence and Human Resources Compliance.

  • Participates and/or lead committees as directed.

JOB REQUIREMENTS

MINIMUM REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Human Resources.

  • Five (5) years of benefits administration experience.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Master's Degree in a related field.

  • More than three (3) years of experience providing direct administrative support and the ability to perform functions independently.
