Employment of Interim and/or Acting Superintendent
The Secaucus Board of Education is seeking an Acting and/or Interim Superintendent to lead, guide, and direct the administrative, instructional, and support services staff in setting and achieving the highest standard of excellence and providing every student with an appropriate and effective education. In the role of Acting and/or Interim Superintendent, the ideal candidate will also provide leadership, support professional development, and managerial oversight to the instructional program and school operations.
Located in Hudson County, NJ, the Secaucus School District is comprised of five schools that provide Pre-Kindergarten through Grade 12 educational services to approximately 2185 students in one Pre-K, two Elementary buildings, one Middle School, and one High School. The District has an operating budget of $45.8 million.
Qualifications:
NJ School Administrator or Certificate of Eligibility
PK-12 Classroom experience
Educational leadership with skills in curriculum, personnel management, school finance, with strong leadership and communication skills
. The successful candidate will demonstrate expertise in:
Effective communications, parental engagement, and community
Ability to work collaboratively and constructively with the Board
Curriculum
School district finances
Salary: Per Diem Salary Commensurate with experience; subject to NJ regulations.
